The Company: Garrington is a market leading property search and acquisition company with a proven track record of success. The Garrington brand has played a major role in building consumer awareness of buyer representation in the UK. As part of the company’s ongoing strategic growth plan, we are increasing our UK coverage and looking to recruit Property Associates to join us operating within London, the North West and the Midlands.

These are exciting positions with enormous potential to join a dynamic and innovative business in a key role. 

The Role: Acting as a central point of contact for our clients, this role is wholly consuming. We work with successful, knowledgeable, professional clients who are attracted to us because of our reputation.  The role blends sophisticated technical expertise and emotional intelligence, always with an eye for best practice and adding value. Assisting clients acquire what is, in many cases one of their most valuable assets, requires patience and flexibility and the ability to respond and adapt to client and market needs.

In addition to class leading service delivery the role also has a strategic function in identifying local market opportunities where the Garrington model can thrive. Business development is a key element of the role, in order to further grow existing corporate alliances with private banking, wealth management and professional business communities. 

The Person - Does this sound like you?  You have a great network of contacts and businesses from which to build relationships. You have a consultative problem solving approach to your work and ability to articulate ideas and advise using a wide range of communication skills to influence both a client’s decision making process and that of key business contacts. You have earned the respect of your peers with at least 10 years property industry experience, 5 of which must have been at a senior level with a demonstrable track record of success.

You have a positive disposition with high levels of commitment and drive.

In addition, you will be IT literate and have a good understanding of Microsoft Office programmes and have good analytical skills. Familiarity with a database system would be beneficial but is not essential.  Flexibility of working hours will be necessary as weekend and evening work is sometimes required.
