Better transport gives Norfolk property a lift

Norfolk has for many years featured properties for sale at lower prices than other parts of eastern and south-eastern England as slow transport links kept the county out of many London and Cambridge commuters’ reach. But that is likely to change as a soon-to-be completed multi-million pound widening of its main A11 road and a planned investment in faster trains to Cambridge and London begin to increase demand for Norfolk’s homes, says Garrington Associate Michelle Daisley.
