A qualified surveyor with a degree in Estate Management, Phil went on to establish Garrington in 1996 due to a belief that the UK housing market is biased against the purchaser. Phil has many years of experience in the London property market from both a selling and buying perspective. This experience and his proven negotiation skills, enables him to provide high quality advice and he is recognised as one of the current leading commentators on the UK property market.

Phil's commitment to promoting the benefit of using a Home Search company, led him to present C4's top rating property search programs Location and Re-Location and he is regularly called upon as the 'Voice of the Buyer'. Phil also provides non-biased property opinion for several leading property publications, national newspapers and TV programs.
