Berkshire’s property market is facing an exciting future, as the completion of London’s multi-billion pound Crossrail project makes commuting into the Capital from the county both easier and quicker for its residents. The likely increase in demand for properties within Berkshire, official research reveals, is likely to significantly increase property values particularly close to the towns that will be on the Crossrail line and, in particular, Maidenhead. But it’s not just Crossrail that is likely to transform the fortunes of Berkshire’s property market; there are other major infrastructure projects looming in other parts of the county too.
